Coaching for growth — with Janey Millar

Sound familiar?

You're capable. You cope. That's not the problem.

The problem is the decision you keep circling without landing. The life — or the role, or the business — that fits like a coat you've outgrown. The "what now?" that visits at 11pm and never brings answers.

You don't need fixing. You need an hour that's actually yours — and a different angle on the view.

What coaching with me is

Most people don't need to change everything.
They need to tilt.

A small shift in angle — in how you see your situation, your options, yourself — and the stuck bits loosen. The next step becomes obvious, and so does the courage to take it.

Protected time to think. Honest conversation. Good questions. And a gentle push to be braver than you'd be on your own.

No jargon. No hustle culture. No being told what to do. The answers are yours — I just change the angle.

Who it's for

Tilt is coaching for growth — whatever it is you're growing. A career, a business, your confidence, or the life that has to hold all three.

  • People mid-journey wondering whether "fine" is enough for the next twenty years.
  • Leaders & managers who spend all day developing everyone except themselves.
  • Business builders growing something of their own, on their own terms.
  • Anyone at a "what now?" — a promotion, a plateau, a return, a new chapter of life, or a quiet itch that won't be ignored.

How it works

  1. First

    A free first conversation

Thirty minutes, no pitch, no pressure. We talk about where you are and whether we're a good fit. If we're not, I'll say so — and you're every bit as free to say the same. No hard feelings, no follow-up chase.

  2. Then

    A coaching programme

Typically six sessions over three to four months — online, an hour each, at a rhythm that suits your life.

  3. And then

    Your next move

Clarity you can act on, decisions made for the right reasons, and the momentum to keep going. Quietly.

About Janey

Hundreds of people. Every kind of crossroads.

I've spent my career focused on people — across operations and HR, much of it inside tech start-ups and scale-ups, where growth is the whole job, and these days at a global coaching company, where I've seen up close what a good coaching conversation can do. Along the way I've sat alongside people at every stage: the rises, the plateaus, the brave leaps, and the quiet reinventions.

Off duty I'm a maker — sewing, knitting, the occasional over-ambitious project — which taught me the thing I bring to every session: most things that look stuck just need patience, the right tension, and a willingness to unpick a row.

In their words

Janey asked questions that prompted me to think more broadly about what I wanted, helped me navigate doubt and think more deeply about my career as a new mother. I'd highly recommend working with her in any moment of transition. — Anna, Director of Customer Success
Janey's coaching has been excellent at helping me take a step back and get perspective. She helped me find streamlined ways of managing my day-to-day work — instrumental in me feeling more organised and calm — and carve out time for me amongst the many competing challenges that family life brings. I would highly recommend her to anyone who wants to make gentle changes to transform their life. — Jane, Legal Adviser
Janey supported me at exactly the moment I needed it — starting my own business after being made redundant, with serious imposter syndrome and finding it so hard to put myself out there. Over three months, she helped me break it all down. She has this brilliant way of getting you to say things out loud, and somehow that alone made everything feel less overwhelming. From there, the right questions, small doable steps, real momentum. I'm now posting consistently and confidently, my LinkedIn following has grown to over 1,000 — but more than the numbers, that paralysing fear just... isn't there anymore. If you're a career-changer and that little voice keeps asking "who am I to do this?" — Janey is exactly who you need in your corner. — Charlotte, Business Owner
